Cursed Egyptian Statue Caught on Film

Hard evidence of the paranormal is seldom found, so when a video as shocking as this one surfaces the assumption is that it's a hoax. In the time-lapse security video, the 4000-year-old statue of Neb-Senu appears to be slowly turning away from spectators from within it's closed case.

The ancient statue, housed at the Manchester Museum in England, was an offering to Osiris, the Egyptian god of death.

"In Ancient Egypt they believed that if the mummy is destroyed then the statuette can act as an alternative vessel for the spirit," said caretaker Campbell Price. (Read full article at Gawker.)

However, experts have quickly determined the moment was caused by repeated differential friction caused by the foot traffic or other vibrations from the street. Price refutes the theory citing that the statue had been on display without incident until now. The movement clearly continues even during the still of the night.
